I have been a faculty member of The Academy of Massage therapy for several years, teaching shiatsu, reflexology and aromatherapy. My philosophy of healing focuses on using holistic, natural methods to stimulate and support physical and emotional well-being.
Our ultimate goal is to teach patients how they can be well and stay well, to empower them to maintain a positive outlook throughout their journey to a healthier and happier self. We want our patients to leave our office feeling better. We do not rush them in and out, genuinely caring how they are and whether their condition has really been improved.
I am happily situated in my profession where I strive to bring out the best in our patients and myself on a physical and spiritual level. We always approach health and wellness with warmth, intelligence, and an uncanny ability to focus on core issues, conveying an unbridled sense of compassion and enthusiasm, always genuinely happy to see our patients and make them feel comfortable. We share a mutual level of trust, from which we derive a great sense of pride and enjoyment in what we do.
Four years ago, a tragic accident left me with a broken wrist and dislocated shoulder, but I fully accredit acupuncture and the use of essential oils to my recovery that was cut in half from what doctors said it would be, and without the need for Physical therapy. I began working with my mom soon after I saw the powerful medicine that is acupuncture.
We have been working, helping, and healing patients side by side ever since my recovery. Currently in my third and final year at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine; I am very excited and ready to add being a Licensed Acupuncturist to an already impressive resume. Also, I am highly trained to do non-needle acupuncture, combining eastern knowledge with western technology using micro-current, used in a multitude of ways ranging from Pain relief to Facial Rejuvenation. For facial rejuvenation, micro-current and energy light are used in a full hour treatment, combining the use of facial acupuncture points along with some of the best natural products out, giving the patient benefits both externally and internally, with inner balance comes outer beauty.
Generally, today’s patients are much more receptive to alternative medicine and proactive in their treatment choices. They don’t want to simply take more pills that result in massive side effects. I share with my mother, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Whenever we hear of anything new that might benefit our clients, we are quick to investigate in order to provide the ultimate experience and the achievement of good health.
